 I wrote  this book during  my sophomore and junior years of high school. There was a lot of drama during these years! I like to people watch, and to particularly observe my classmates, and listen to their stories. In this book I wanted  to reflect on high school dilemmas and  explore the idea that people with very different personalities and cultural backgrounds have shared values that can allow them to become friends. I believe in power of our minds, and I also believe in power of mutual support and helpig others. I wanted to write about both of these ideas in my book.  My volunteer experience inspired me to include a message about the uplifting satisfaction of giving to others. I hope readers will reach out to me and discuss thoughts and issues that mean something to them!
